In the wake of James Cook 1728–1779

Peter Andersen

James Cook is widely heralded as one of the greatest maritime explorers of all time. Cook was born in England in 1728 and we follow in his wake during his time in the Royal Navy in North America where he proved himself a skilled hydrographer and mapmaker. He captained 3 voyages of exploration between 1768 and 1779. Exhibited at Malmex 2018; the exhibit has been rearranged and many objects, some unique, have been added and the current version was accepted for NORDIA 2020 in Malmö.
