This exhibit shows mail sent to, from or within Sweden between 1891 and 1983, with mixed franking from two (or more) mail carriers. Such mixed franking is in some cases necessary for bringing mail to its original destination. Mixed franking may also occur if there is a need to pay for additional postage or postal services when mail is forwarded to a new address or returned to the sender. The exhibit provides a systematic review of these different reasons for mixed franking. Version Hafnia 2024. The exhibit is shown as a PDF file.
