Alan Warren

This exhibit tells the story of postal markings used in Sweden, primarily before the introduction of adhesive postage. The time period is from the 17th century to the mid-19th century, although some examples of stampless covers extending into the 1860s are included. The study explores the early types of mail including messenger mail, crown post, military mail, and general mail. The exhibit is shown in pdf format. (Version WESTPEX 2017)
