Peter Andersen
James Cook is widely heralded as one of the greatest maritime explorers of all time. Cook was born in England in 1728 and we follow in his wake during his time in the Royal Navy in North America where he proved himself a skilled hydrographer and mapmaker. He captained 3 voyages of exploration between 1768 and 1779. The exhibit was awarded Gold (91p) at the Danish national exhibition “Den Muntre” in Hornslet, November 2023.
