This exhibit shows letters from Sweden to the United Kingdom, sent before the Universal Postal Union standardized international postage rates. The focus is on different mail routes and rates. The exhibit is part of a larger collection of Swedish mail to foreign destinations, and was shown in a group display by Swedish members of the Royal Philatelic Society London in 2009. The exhibit is shown as a pdf file.

Letter from Gothenburg, 1823, via Helsingborg, Helsingør, Korsør, Hamburg and Cuxhaven to London. Partly paid by the sender, 5s to pay by the addressee.
